Business Development Intern (French-speaking)

Luna Socks is a direct-to-consumer e-commerce startup located in Berlin. We are disrupting the $50 billion socks industry with a revolutionary print-on-garment technology, selling personalized socks for pet lovers. As we expand into the French market, we are looking for a dynamic Business Development Intern to join our close-knit team in Berlin for three months starting in September (preferred) or October. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the founding team and experience the thrill of building a company from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become a Paid Social Pro: You will become proficient in managing paid social campaigns, honing your skills in targeting, ad creation, and budget allocation.
  • Design & Structure Social Media Ad Campaigns: Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy. This includes creating engaging content and structuring ad campaigns to drive customer engagement and sales.
  • Influencer Marketing: Identify and engage with influencers who align with our brand's mission and values. Your role includes negotiating partnerships and managing these relationships to increase our reach and visibility.
  • Customer Support: Assist in managing relationships with our valued customers from France. You will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and handling any inquiries or complaints with professionalism and care.
  • Supply Chain Operations: Gain hands-on experience in e-commerce supply chain operations. You will assist in inventory management, order fulfillment, and the overall smooth running of our operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual Skills: You should be a native French speaker and be fluent in English to effectively manage our French market operations.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: We're looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who enjoys the excitement and challenges of building new ventures.
  • Interest in E-commerce & Social Media Marketing: A strong interest and understanding of the e-commerce industry and social media marketing is key to succeed in this role.
  • Education: We prefer candidates who are pursuing or have completed a degree with a focus on Business Administration or a related field.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: As a startup, we often face novel problems without predefined solutions. You should be a problem-solver, comfortable with ambiguity, and excited to find creative solutions to any challenge that arises.
